Christopher Riddle

Deputy Chief Christopher Riddle has been a member of the Fairfield Police Department since 2002. He was recently promoted to his current position in May 2017. Deputy Chief Riddle has held many positions within the Department, such as Patrol Officer, Evidence Technician, Shift Supervisor, Warrant Officer, and Investigative Supervisor.

Deputy Chief Riddle earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia Southern University in 2009. He also earned a Master’s Degree in European History from American Military University in 2013.

In addition to his service to the City of Fairfield, Deputy Chief Riddle has served in the United States Army Reserves for 18 years. He’s currently a Master Sergeant assigned to the United States Army Reserves Careers Division. Deputy Chief Riddle was also called to duty during Operation Iraqi Freedom, for which he deployed to Iraq from March 2003 until April 2004.
